There are songs that entertain, and then there are songs that heal. TaniA Kyllikki’s latest single “I AM Good Enough,” released on April 4, 2025, is a soul-baring ballad that reaches into your chest and holds your heart still. As the fourth release from her upcoming sophomore album Free-Spirited, this track is a deeply personal declaration of self-worth, recovery, and inner strength delivered with a voice that aches, soars, and ultimately empowers.
The opening is delicate yet stirring, with orchestral swells and soft piano ripples setting a cinematic tone. Then TaniA’s voice enters—rich, molten, and heavy with emotion. It’s storytelling through pain. Every word in the first verse feels lived-in, as she explores the paradox of being able to love others unconditionally while struggling to love herself.
The lyrics are brutally honest, almost confessional, as she walks us through mental self-doubt, trauma, and a lifetime of lies told to silence the soul. Yet even at its rawest, “I AM Good Enough” rises. The chorus is a powerful mantra, repeated like a healing incantation:
“Good enough / Good enough / I am / Yes, I am.”
Her husband, Rynellton, for whom she has previously dedicated music to as well and the soul-baring tenderness of which I had reviewed with much pleasure, joins in with tender harmonies. These harmonies layer the song with warmth and shared understanding, giving the track an intimate, almost spiritual atmosphere. As the song builds, so does TaniA’s delivery—by the final act, her voice cracks with a haunting anguish that morphs into triumph. The backing vocals swell behind her like a gospel choir of ghosts and angels, and you feel the release.
Musically, it’s gorgeously understated, letting the vocals and lyrics take center stage, where they belong. The production, led by Rynellton, supports without overpowering, giving each emotional nuance room to breathe.
For those of us who have doubted or are still doubting our worth or struggled to unlearn the damage of emotional wounds, TaniA offers solidarity. So unite over the sisterhood and bonds in her latest YouTube music video for the song.
