This single from Filipino-American singer-songwriter and producer Joseph Bautista’s solo project Theredspirit is an uplifting meditative anthem about living in the moment and enjoying the little joys in life. The song features Isen to accompany him on the vocals.

The song as the name suggests is about living in the moment and how we can chase after things bigger than life but the simplest of things often have the beauty to absolutely captivate us and leave us in awe reminding us to live in the moment. To quote the artist himself, this song is “a song about the now and present. To be grateful for what you have and be in the moment. About not being afraid and not regretting. All about that risk. To not be scared of anything or to love.”

Joseph and Isen’s vocal duet chanting “I live in the moment” in perfect harmony creates a calm meditative dreamy ambiance. The instrumentation of this song has that honest organic bedroom feel to it that all the other indie artists try to emulate but never quite get it right. The guitar melodies that play throughout the song, the dreamy chanting duet, the steady punchy drums, the guitar solo, and everything held tightly by the bass guitar, this song is full of subtle things of beauty. A great song to remind yourself to take a seat back and live in the moment a little.
