I Wouldn’t Worry by Sugar Nova: Review
Sugar Nova is an astounding electronica act consisting of Luke Miller and Rachel Eisenstat. The duo’s chemistry is pretty enticing, as evident from their chill EDM track “I Wouldn’t Worry.” The song captures the essence of electro-pop with a distinctly Caribbean twist. The latter attribute exists through a sway in the song’s tempo and groovy basslines to top it all off.
“I Wouldn’t Worry” initiates with Rachel’s passionate voice, and she instantly creates an atmosphere with a moving vibe. The track is such a mood from start to finish, especially the drum roll leading up to the chorus. It pertains to the sound of reggae, but with the added nature of “Caribbean cool” into the mix. I thoroughly enjoyed this fresh take on the electronica genre, and Luke did a fantastic job in creating the soundscape. Instrumentally rich and impactful, “I Wouldn’t Worry” is one such melody that stays with you even if countless days pass by. With that being said, if you enjoy a unique electronic piece, then please don’t miss out on Sugar Nova’s beats.
Rachel’s vocal performance was quite thrilling to hear. The mellow verse bits and amplified chorus sections were perfectly captured by her diverse voice, and I couldn’t have imagined it any other way! Altogether she makes “I Wouldn’t Worry” equally relaxing and exciting too. With the addition of Luke’s rhythmic mindset, it seems the duo is definitely going places. Folks, their song is available for streaming so do check it out!
