Immature by Plant Dad ft Father: Review
Two legends in the making, Plant Dad hailing from Baltimore, and Father an Atlanta-based rapper and the CEO of Awful records, together have composed a song that truly shines like a bright diamond. Plant Dad’s soothing vocals set a gateway into the world of Indie Pop, and R&B for his song “Immature”. Father and Plant Dad’s collaboration is incredible and mesmerizing, and that fits perfectly for a late-night “mood” session.
The dreamy guitar chords, accompanied by the keys are exceptional. Oh, and that bass! Man! You gotta be a fool to not realize how rich it sounds with each note. The deep tone adds a mixture of sugar on top to an already sweet song. The main hook just reels you into the song, and anyone would be tempted to play the replay button once the song ends. Heck, I’m listening to it right now! My favorite part of the rap –
“You want romance and obsession
I want four pockets full and excess
That’s fine with me but these bands take precedence
I’m on the precipice”
Now, the rap section by Father is truly gold, his lyrical style and the way he spits out a fluid rap verse are truly phenomenal. You realize greatness when a rapper is passionate about his flow and it sounds like literary eargasm. It’s out there on Spotify man, you just can’t miss it! Ladies and Gents, please don’t skip Immature by Plant Dad and Father, it’d be a sin I tell you!
