Same Thing by Justin The Lover: Review
There is something peaceful about dancing, and especially when it’s to your heart’s content. American DJ and artist, Justin has a special rhythm to share with his groovy song “Same Thing”. He is also renowned for his generous #nomoresad campaign where he organized and sent dancing videos to anyone who shared a song with him. Just like his thoughtful music, his actions really do speak in the same manner.
Now, about the song’s impressions, let’s just say when the beat drops I just wanna move my body and dance like there’s no tomorrow. The overall melody of the song is accompanied by a techno rhythm that sets a strong resemblance to an almost space-like tune, reminiscent of the movie ‘Interstellar’. But when the drum sequence kicks in, I feel like partying in space with a couple of astronauts just chilling and having a good time.
The rap sections are quite significant throughout the song and it’s a nice mix of hip hop with the dance music Justin composed. “Same Thing” is more than 6 minutes long, and the song’s structure is quite consistent through and throughout. It feels like a complete honor in the name of dance, and that is where everyone’s motivation should be – to dance your socks off. The song is a part of Justin’s “Form and Function” album, a fifteen track groove extravaganza, that you should definitely check out! Go ahead, it’s streaming on Spotify.
