In the music video for ‘Shake It,’ Cardi B enjoys a celebratory night out with Kay Flock, Bory300, and Dougie B.
Cardi B has collaborated on a new drill song called “Shake It” with Kay Flock, Bory300, and Dougie B. The song was released on Friday, April 15, accompanied with a music video that depicts the trio having a fun night out with their friends in the Bronx.
The hip-hop stars deliver their fiery bars inside and outside a grocery store in the quick-cut video created by Jochi Saca, Alex, and Tristan Demic. Kay starts things off with a spit “Oh, we’re trying to bend the oppas/ B***h, I’ve got 300 jets and a flocka/ Who’s hotter? Like a Rasta, top shottas/ Hoodie’d up, dreads down.”
Bory and Dougie rap, “I’m with the Flockas, I bet she get naked/ Walk with the ‘Migos and Henny, no chasin’, like/ Shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake it, shake “I’m with the Flockas, I’m sure she’ll get naked/ Shorty, she buggin’, she wants me to spank her, like.”
In her line, Offset’s wife rhymes, “Is it true that you’re on a hot streak? I’m on hots, too, and I’m driving up to your window like a drive-thru.” “Come get showered with bullets, no bridal/ Put a tag on your head, I can purchase you,” she continues.
Cardi’s latest collaboration is “Shake It,” which follows her appearance on Summer Walker’s “No Love (Extended Version).” After Kay was crowned Billboard’s R&B and Hip-Hop Rookie of the Month in November 2021, the summer-ready anthem was released on streaming sites.
“I just gotta keep pushing, you feel me?” Kay told Billboard on his plans to help take drill music forward. He went on to explain, “And [with] other musicians who are attempting to rise through drill, simply assist them. All I have to do now is keep putting people on. I don’t know, being in the industry or anything doesn’t really mean much to me. That nonsense is meaningless to me. I’m the same person I’ve always been.”
