INCUBATOR by iNKOGNiiTO: Review

First of all, killer name! iNKOGNiiTO is an indie artist that makes dreamy tunes using electronica and downtempo vibes. The track “INCUBATOR” is their creative work that is very atmospheric and has a peaceful vibe to it altogether. It’s the type of music you’d listen to with the lights off and some colorful beams to guide you along the path to melodic sensations. “INCUBATOR” is a song about waiting for something eternally.

“INCUBATOR” is heavily synth-based with roots in lo-fi music as well. As the singer serenades listeners in the track we are presented with a unique take on their world of rhythm. The track starts off in a very artsy and avant-garde manner, with what feels like the sound of an engine! Interesting way to start a song indeed. The percussion in the song is quite faded, and light on the ears. Mostly, the name of the song is repeated throughout the track, and it has a very catchy notion that could get stuck in your head.

What I enjoyed most in the track was nearing the end when a very psychedelic synth is played that fades in and out with the singer’s voice as well. All in all, the track has a flow that is quite smooth. If you’re tired of all the hustle and bustle from the street noises and traffic then “INCUBATOR” by iNKOGNiiTO is the perfect track to relax and vibe too! There are even some very peaceful synthesizer notes played that sound like the triangle instrument.
