Instant Empire released entrancing track ‘Tiny Flashes’
The Denver-based independent rock band Instant Empire is thrilled to reveal the day on which ‘Standing Eight Count’ will be released. The group’s fourth studio album, ‘Standing Eight Count’, will be made available digitally on March 31, 2023.
To commemorate the occasion, Instant Empire released ‘Tiny Flashes’, the lead track off their soon-to-be-released fourth album ‘Standing Eight Count’. This song underwent a real change musically. When Sean first started writing the music, it was a very simple piano-based song. The song began to sound really muscular as the band began to lay it out, especially after Matt came up with the drum parts. Lou’s guitar playing was the last piece to be added to this song, and the solo he plays during the bridge really gave it attitude and spirit. When we started, they had no idea this song would sound like this. In the context of the entire album, Tiny Flashes stands out as a very potent moment, and the music ultimately gave the lyrics the ideal sense of urgency.
