I’ve Been Looking by Hunter: Review
“I’ve Been Looking” is a breathtaking hymn brought to life by singer/songwriter Hunter. Also a multi-instrumentalist and producer, the artist showcases a youthful essence in this fresh piece. This track has the perfect dose of electronica and an epic singer commanding the helm, all the while assuring a heartfelt theme.
Time and time again the aura of anthemic music has taken the music biz by storm. Something about its flair manages to uplift entire audiences into a thrill, and Hunter’s fresh track is no stranger to that. The instrumental aspects of this piece along with the singer’s gripping vocals, express the spirit of freedom valiantly. I’ve Been Looking’s upbeat tempo is pretty mesmerizing if I may say so. How the vocalist pronounces each passage with grit and force resonated deeply. In addition to that, the song’s crescendo is simply jaw-dropping. The buildup to that moment, especially when the percussions enter, kept me on the edge of my seat. Also, the synergy of the beats, with the electronica rhythm and vocals, had an invigorating feeling.
Hunter’s composition gave off the vibe that it’s the last day of Summer and all your friends are going off to college. Carpe diem is in effect, and the experiences you share with the gang will last an eternity. However, as the years go by everyone walks on a separate path, such is the harsh truth in the circle of life. “I’ve Been Looking” not only captures that idea but also offers closure in the form of a powerful melody.
