J’aime trop by Lukx: Review
Lucas Malmport, a singer-songwriter, and his father, Nils Malmport, a composer, who produces, and specializes in mixing and mastering, make up the musical marvel known as Lukx. Hip-hop, pop/r&b, and house are the key musical styles that have influenced them. They recorded the spicy R&B single “J’aime trop” at their Belgian home studio. Nils recorded, mixed, and mastered the song after working with three of Lucas’ friends on the composition.
“J’aime trop” is such a mood. It incorporates heavy guitar progressions that have a moving touch. Along with fantastic beat sections that bounce all around to make the melodies spark adds finesse. Altogether, when the singer appears on the scene the entire track just lights up and feels completely like a soulful piece dedicated to one’s significant other. I admire the vocalist’s singing style. He blends together the lower notes and compliments them with upper falsetto pieces to solidify the core of the melody. All in all the nature of RnB is evidently present, and sounds quite smooth indeed!
The guitar sequences on “J’aime trop” are an excellent sound to vibe out to. Sometimes the simplicity of some chord embellishments is all you need to make a track sound polished. Whether it’s heavy metal, jazz, or even cinematic score, sometimes just minimal compositions make the track shine. Overall, Lukx’s track “J’aime trop” is a jazzy track that anyone can resonate with.
