Jesus’ Tears by Coma Beach: Review
Punk rock is a melodic release for the masses. This is why it’s so popular. From its rebellious narrative to its heavy sound, the genre has resonated with many individuals for decades. This brings us to the captivating aura of punk rock band Coma Beach and their song “Jesus’ Tears.” It’s a track filled with electrifying guitars reminiscent of vintage musical rebels and a dominant vocal force leading the mic.
“Jesus’ Tears” is such a cathartic experience to take in. Starting from the deep basslines to the powerful drum segments, the song’s essence satisfies my soul. Being a heavy metal fan since I was a teenager and a punk rock fanatic to this day, Coma Beach’s sound engrossed me entirely. The guitar’s tone and the singer’s raspy voice spoke to the depths of my heart, especially the part of me that’s particularly angry at the universe. Maybe that’s the whole idea of punk rock: to knock at the mental door that keeps all your anxiety and feelings of hate locked away. Luckily, Coma Beach knocked that door down with sheer force, and their influential rock sound set all my pent-up emotions free.
If you’re a fan of classic punk rock, something that fills your desire to hear the Ramones or the Sex Pistols over and over again, then Jesus’ Tears by Coma Beach should be right up your alley, folks. It’s a delightful number that impressed me plenty, and I’m sure you’ll feel the same way.
