On The Walk From The Picturehouse by Camens: Review
Guitar in hand, drum sticks at the ready, bass amplified to shake the ground, and ready to rock Camens show us how exciting indie pop and rock can be through their uplifting number “On The Walk From The Picturehouse.” It’s a poetic piece that has a polished instrumental section and a commanding presence at the mic. With a narrative that pulls you into its natural rhythm flow, Camens gives us a performance we’ll remember for many days to come.
Coming back to my opening statement about instruments being ready, I believe Camens were ready to unleash their melodic spirit through that aspect. They were ready from the very first note, which was an intriguing guitar bit followed by a deep bassline. The drum beat is sensational and puts you in a state of elation. Once that exhilaration sets in, the singer’s charm comes into effect. They’re able to poetically describe a scene and bring it to life with their vocal chops. The entire aesthetic is very intriguing, and I had such a wonderful time hearing the song from beginning to end. This is what makes indie rock so darn good, with artists like Camens stealing the show with songs such as “On The Walk From The Picturehouse.”
If you’re up for hearing a fast-paced indie tune, then look no further than Camens’ song “On The Walk From The Picturehouse.” It’s got a rapid rhythm section followed by a powerful singer, altogether the combination is not to be missed out on.
