John Lyzenga released captivating new song ‘Her Love’
The veteran Christian indie artist Page CXVI is featured on the new single ‘Her Love’ by California-based singer-songwriter John Lyzenga. John’s new single, which tells the story of his own encounter with the Divine, combines prickly nylon strings, sweeping synthesizers, the eclectic and hypnotic percussion and drumming of James McAlister, as well as the soaring harmonies of Page CXVI. “It is a love that will remain knelt beside us in suffering”, he sings. “This love accepts us for who we are. It is a love that has no boundaries outside of our parched metaphors. It is a love for the entire planet.” ‘Her Love’ presents a reconstruction of a faith that has grown and found its foundation as opposed to the deconstructionist, social-justice themes of his debut album ‘In Troubled Times’.
