Karen Harding Shares “Letter to My Friend” and Releases Full Debut EP
Karen Harding is a folk/pop singer-songwriter from Melbourne, Australia, who is passionate about conveying relatable expressions of human emotion and perception through her music. This is reflected in her recently released album “I’ve Got A Secret,” which features her soothing, angelic voice. Its final single release “Letter To My Friend” features a powerful message of hope in the face of overwhelming adversity. It serves as a way to deal with unfortunate situations, a silent prayer, and an affirmation for things to change for the better – all packed with a glimmer of hope.
For Karen, music is a soul conversation that permits the masks we wear to share, a moment of shared trust in a language that does not distinguish in any manner. Compared to the sounds of Eva Cassidy, Sarah McLachlan, and Karen Carpenter, Karen Harding has been successful since she released her first single, “I Didn’t Realise,” in May 2021. She won the Bendigo Bank-sponsored Independent Songwriter Talent Show on Radio Eastern FM in Melbourne, Australia, in November 2021 for the song “Anxiety,” placed in the top ten of the World Songwriting Awards for the song “Something Special,” and was nominated for Best International Artist at the Crags Radio Independent Artist Awards in February 2022.
Her music has recently received attention and airplay on Bree Noble’s ‘Women of Substance’ podcast, as well as a variety of print and radio attention, and she is steadily growing a fan base of devoted and connected admirers.
