Listen to Giolì & Assia’s atmospheric new tune “Fire, Hell, and Holy Water”
With their first song of 2022, ‘Fire, Hell, and Holy Water,’ Giol & Assia deliver spectacular vibes.
The beautiful song ‘Quedate,’ a collaboration with Brazilian LGBTQ+ artist Pabllo Vittar, as well as their fascinating extended play ‘Moon Faces,’ had a fantastic year in 2021 for powerhouse Italian duo Giol & Assia. The dynamic duo are back with their first release of 2022, the ecliptic track named ‘Fire, Hell, and Holy Water,’ showcasing their remarkable talent.
‘Fire, Hell, and Holy Water,’ which premiered during Diesis Live, a live show at Iceland’s Fagradalsfjall Volcano, is the first song off the band’s upcoming album of the same name. The single provides a sense of mystery with subtle percussion and atmospheric notes in its arrangements, which are accompanied by amazing and gorgeous vocals performed flawlessly by Assia. The song’s dark and fascinating basslines round out the experience, making it memorable and joyful for the listener, which is only enhanced by the intelligent language. The music serves as a fantastic preview for Giol & Assia’s future album, which is set to be released this summer, and gives a glimpse into the band’s diverse soundscape.
‘Fire, Hell, and Holy Water’ is out now on Ultra Music and is really worth checking out.
