Lorenzo Piscopo Releases Enlightening Song “If Not Now When”

Lorenzo Piscopo is a stellar musician hailing from Florence, Italy. His song “If Not Now When” was released on March 23rd and is a lovely tune with acoustic textures. Aside from that, there are also interesting genre variations in the track. Lorenzo plays a custom-made 28-string guitar in a classic Nashville tuning, which is a very unique arrangement I gotta say. Coming back to my take on genre variations, well the musician mixes post-rock, ambient, and even a bit of progressive fusion in “If Not Now When.” It’s a song with an instrumental focus and takes you on a trip worth experiencing.

Being a producer himself, Lorenzo composed and completed “If Not Now When.” That’s an impressive skill, and his music has amassed plenty of positive feedback on social media platforms. In addition to that, the tune has a fascinating cadence. It enters with an acoustic plucking that blends with clean synthesizers that are pretty calming to hear. This is where the elements of ambient and post-rock form, especially so when the instruments are in full swing. Also, there are some vocals here and there, but more as fillers.
