Love Is Blind by Ruiz!: Review
“Love Is Blind” is a delightful track by Hugh Ruiz Robert AKA Ruiz! His playstyle has always intrigued me, especially the tonal effects in his fresh track. Blending genres such as electronica, and rock feels like the way to go, and Ruiz accomplishes that sound with his poetic soul at the helm.
There are moments in our lives when we feel infinite. Whether it’s a film or a piece of music, an art form can transform our souls into limitless beings that can conquer anything. Thus, hearing the powerful melody of “Love Is Blind” and each lyrical verse moved my very core. Along with its ethos, an uplifting rhythm section takes its footing. With a reverbed guitar and resonant beats, the song’s charm is felt. Also with Ruiz’s passionate voice entering the mix, it’s tough not to get fascinated by the tune. Aside from this, there’s this psychedelic aspect to the song that comes from its instrumentation. Furthermore, the vocal sections have an allure and a catchiness that will easily vibe with fans of the pop genre alike.
The music video for “Love Is Blind” is pretty artsy and incorporates a trippy aesthetic. For anyone who enjoys psychedelic imagery, such as myself, a worthwhile experience is underway. In addition to that, the musical aura itself is captivating and grabs your attention from the first second. Due to its fast-paced mechanics, and interesting rhythm bits, “Love Is Blind” amounts to a lovely piece that everyone should hear on repeat.
