Malibu Hot Flush released groovy new song ‘Make It Matter’
Raw jam sessions where high-octane avenues were explored and the two converged their various energies in jumbled but entirely natural ways are where Malibu Hot Flush originated. Despite being involved in separate projects in the past, here they are with their first joint entry into the commercial music scene and the massive new single ‘Make It Matter’.
Malibu Hot Flush’s music, at its core, is an ad hoc fusion of electronic post-punk, new wave, Euro disco, indie, techno, and industrial genres. You can hear all of them on this song. And it’s been done specifically with the aim of getting people to let loose and throw themselves around the room. Tim Bleasdale’s modular system is distinctive because it is made up entirely of cables, light sequences, and electrical equipment. The fact that it’s analog and somewhat unpredictable gives Tiberio’s lyrics and snapped guitar improvisations the right anarchic foundations, which are layered and built up to crescendos of cinematic proportions. Epic pair? Absolutely. Additionally, they are a connected couple. You’ll want to keep an eye out for Malibu Hot Flush’s upcoming music in the months to come in addition to ‘Make It Matter’.
