Mara Sol released engrossing track ‘Bone Dry’
Following the October 2022 release of her debut EP ‘Walking The Road’, Mara Sol is back with ‘Bone Dry’, her first single of 2023. ‘Bone Dry’, a song by Mara Sol that has become known for fusing genres, lies somewhere between indie-folk, indie-pop, and singer-songwriter music. It has a sound that is both strangely familiar and energizingly fresh.
“I really try to capture the everyday ordinary human life in these songs. She says, “I believe that as humans, the one thing we truly desire is to belong and to be loved.” In ‘Bone Dry’, Sol uses the metaphorical phrase “soaked to the bone” to describe her infatuation, which was followed by the need to “get bone dry.” John Caviness and Mara Sol collaborated on the single’s co-production, mixing, and mastering.
