Marisa Nikole, a Denver-based musician and songwriter who is currently working on an album, uses the power of vengeance in her most recent single, “Dangerous,” which is now accessible on all streaming services.
The multifaceted musician/artist creates from a place of fantasy with an air of reality. Heavy blues/rock production engulfs listeners to the point where the plot of “Dangerous” feels uncomfortably similar to playing the bad guy in a horror movie. After what feels like a brutal enclosing in her past, Marisa is released in July 2022 and reclaims control of her life. Vocal redemption breaks through the metaphorical glass ceiling behind which she has been imprisoned for too long. Living experiences frequently mold artists and serve as the initial inspiration for their work. Marisa Nikole portrays a lead character who sets out to kill an ex-husband and disappear.
