(((S))) returns with a unique release, spending countless hours crafting his 10-track album “Maverick”. He’s one of the most interesting musicians we’ve covered in a long time. With a life committed to music, keeping himself under the shadows, his new album is a self-reflective masterwork.
The 10-track album is influenced by Copenhagen’s 80s punk culture, with lyrics that challenge each listener to fit together the puzzle of a meaningless world full of absurdities. I can imagine that it will resonate with audiences from all around the globe, with its rhythms and thought-provoking lyrics that will lead you on a journey of discovery.
“Big Black Beautiful Bird” reflects on oneself with mysterious riffs, while “Nighttrain To Nowhere” is a vocally balanced musical, and then “Sometimes It Takes Someone Like You” is instrumental 90s soft rock featuring (((S))))’s vocals and a catchy pace. “Time Is A Thief” is a vocal psychedelic anthem with upbeat yet sentimental soundscapes. “Ballet Of The Wolves” explores the sacrifices in love. The album then concludes with “Touch My Heart – Touch My Soul” – a classic rock, with gorgeous riffs, delivering a spectacular climax that is rare in today’s musical landscape. Boasting a fusion of pop and post-punk to create something entirely unique, the album remains thought-provoking.
As ungoogleable as he may remain, there’s no doubt in my mind that (((S))) has done a wonderful job displaying his musical soul and original thoughts in “Maverick”.
