Moh Green drops flaming track ‘JO (featuring French Montana and 1da Banton)’
The upbeat new single ‘JO’ is the work of award-winning US rap artist of Moroccan descent FRENCH MONTANA, Nigerian breakout star IDA BANTON, and French Algerian DJ and producer MOH GREEN. As the lead track from Moh Green’s eagerly awaited EP ‘Just Now’, which is set to drop next spring, ‘JO’ is an afroclub banger in the trademark Moh Green style and the ideal illustration of Moh’s Pan-African vision being displayed on a song that will transport listeners to all seven continents. ‘JO’ celebrates the cultural diversity that Moh Green wants to promote through his music, from Algeria and Morocco to France, the US, and Nigeria.
The song’s title, ‘JO’, which in Yoruba means “dance,” teases the listener to let all inhibitions go and dance. It was produced by Moh Green and Nour and is a dance floor filler powered by lush drum, synth, and flute arrangements. It includes a charming music video that was filmed in Miami and Paris and directed by the Marseille-based creative group Red Out Black, who have collaborated with French celebrities like MRC, L’Algerino, and Soso Maness and amassed over one billion views for their scene-stealing music videos.
