More by Nicole Saphos Band: Review
It’s 2023 and delightful artists such as Nicole Saphos Band continue to strive in the realm of feel-good indie music. The artist’s track “More” has an interesting mixture of pop and RnB, and the final outcome is truly stellar! Aside from that, an alluring singer sets the stage where the lyrical elements are pleasant and instills plenty of charm.
“More” is one of those delightful indie tunes that incorporate a refined balance of instrumental grit and vocal force. Let’s start with the first aspect, well the muted guitars are certainly resonant and provide a soothing backdrop for the percussions to follow through. Aside from that, atmospheric basslines keep the track’s core intact. About the vocal aspects, if you were seeking a lighthearted singer striking equal amounts of flow and groove to a melody, then look no further. When the artist sings, they let go of their emotions and it carries a pleasant tune with it.
Within the structure of Nicole Saphos Band’s tune lies a gripping guitar solo. There’s a dash of psychedelia and blues employed in that segment, and it’s an enchanting sequence to hear. The cadence is lovely, and each note provides significance. There wasn’t any shredding taking place rather it was overflowing with rhythm and blended perfectly with the music’s vibration. Ultimately, “More” follows the tropes of indie pop’s more endearing aspects. Where the hooks are infectious as heck, and a jazzy singer commands the essence of the piece.
