New Moon by Domax: EP Review
โNew Moonโ, an EP by London-based multi-instrumentalist Domax, is out and it is a compilation of six songs of ambient and experimental electronic music. The extended play has been praised for its originality of sound and its ability to immerse listeners in an experience that holds their attention throughout.
With its ethereal soundscapes and eponymous title, โNew Moonโ establishes the mood for the whole album. Each layer adds to the mesmerizing, peaceful atmosphere created by the various rhythms. Album closer โNebulaโ has glistening synthesizers and a steadily developing pace, leaving listeners with a feeling of awe and intrigue.
The whole of โNew Moonโ serves as a showcase for Domaxโs skill at constructing enveloping soundscapes and fusing organic instruments with synthetic textures. His mastery in sound design and composition is prominent throughout this EP, which takes the listener on a trip through a variety of inventive sounds and grooving beats.
