Night Call by Ali Rice: Review
Ali Rice is a songwriter, musician, and producer who’s been making music inspired by Kings of Leon, U2, Sam Fender, and many more from his bedroom since 2020. His most recent single is an indie rock number titled “Night Call,” which was released on November 4, 2022.
The song starts off with an acoustic guitar rhythm accompanied by the powerful vocalist, who sounds a lot like Chris Martin from Coldplay. The start of the song creates an environment that is magical and then continues into something more magical when the bass and drums get in. It feels more like surfing while the breeze calms you down. The filler work plays in between the song; it feels complete, the song is appealing and rhythmic, and it features a driving guitar riff that establishes the mood for the entire song. As the song transitions into a high-energy guitar solo, he gives out a final note before the ending. Ali’s lyrics are straightforward and full of life, with genuine emotion as he explores the concept of what it means to love someone on a deeper level.
This song is an adventure, despite the fact that it is only three minutes and fifty seconds long. It almost sounds like a pure rock song as it comes to a close. Whether you are driving or cruising, switch on this song and get adrift in the wave of emotion and good feelings.
