Repeat sends you reeling in a rock-filled rollercoaster in their latest single, “Not Enough.” Released on April 5 under TH Records, this latest single from the Swedish stoner rock band is a high-octane adrenaline rush from start to finish.
Produced by Joakim Lindberg in Malmö in January 2024 and mastered by Magnus Lindberg in Redmount Studios, “Not Enough” wastes no time in making its presence known. The song bursts into life with blistering guitar riffs that shred at an insane pace, setting the stage for what’s to come.
As the guitars blaze a trail, the singer’s voice cuts through with a sense of urgency and frustration, thick, hazy, and high yet filled with determination. With each impassioned refrain of “It’s not enough,” the vocalist leaves no doubt about the intensity of the emotions driving the song forward. His voice brings a heady space to the song and balances the piercing instrumentals and hooky energy. It makes you feel like you are on a chase and you need to get faster.
But it’s not just the vocals that pack a punch—the drums pound just as hard and fast, driving the rhythm with relentless energy. Together, the instruments create a whirlwind of sound that envelops listeners in its ferocity, demanding their attention from start to finish.
The band debuted with their self-titled album Repeat and hit beyond the national borders. Now “Not Enough” is teasing the vigor of Rat Race, edging closer by the moment. Coming to you this June 7 are nine new songs, recorded live for maximum impact, awaiting your ears to burst into.
