On a New Song, Mahalia Can Be Found ‘In the Club’, it comes with a video to go along with it.
It’s 2003 once more, and Mahalia is in charge of turning on the time machine. The rising vocalist has released a new song called “In The Club,” which is reminiscent of 50 Cent’s massive breakthrough smash “In Da Club.”
Mahalia’s new track isn’t as raucous as the hip-hop mogul’s debut. Instead, she chooses to keep her distance from individuals who have only recently resurfaced after her career has taken off.
“No matter what you say, there ain’t ever going to be a sequel,” Mahalia sings, cutting them off with her sharp tongue.
“It’s all about getting rid of garbage pals,” Mahalia posted on Instagram about “In The Club.” “Removing the bad in order to make room for the new.”
Mahalia released a music video for the new song, which she co-directed with Oliver Kane. Mahalia is seen in the video playing the song in the backseat of a luxury vehicle with two assumed companions, who are dropped off towards the end.
Mahalia has yet to reveal whether or whether she is working on a major-label follow-up album. She has, however, released a little project called Isolation Tapes following the publication of Love and Compromise in 2019.
The Rico Nasty-assisted “Jealous,” the certified hit “Whenever You’re Ready,” the AJ Tracey-featured “Roadside,” the woman-to-woman track “Letter To My Ex,” and the introspective “Whatever Simon Says” were among the five songs published in support of this anticipated new era.
On May 17, Mahalia will begin her Letter To My Ex Tour in Europe. Ruti will be the featured guest. On her official website, tickets for the tour and festival appearances this summer are currently on sale.
