One Rule by Ruiz!: Review
Ruiz!โs latest single โOne Ruleโ is theatrical, containing unique vocal interpretations evoking high intelligence and maturity in terms of art. Hugh Ruiz Robert, better known as Ruiz!, hails from Sheffield, England, and is a one-man show that meticulously records and plays back his own encounters.
The build is slower, but it makes sure to grab the listenerโs attention with a dominant bass line and mesmerizing melodies. Highlighting the โconfusionโ of surviving the rigors of the pandemic with enticing electronic melodies, percussion, and guitars tuned in a unique double voice tuning to Ruiz!โs synchronized vocals. Backed by seconds throughout nearly the whole song, giving it a certain depth and a lot of statement, there are brief passages where a phasing dance rhythm takes over. The guitar plays throughout the song, with perfectly placed brief musical interludes. A combination of industrial rock with Ruiz! dominating what are otherwise many styles of performance, is worth a listen for everyone. In a seamless synthesis of appealing compositions, with nihilistic lyrics and updated melodies, Ruiz! has been mixing elements of rockโnโroll from the 1960s, electronica, pop-punk, and political, psychedelic dark rock into his work to give us something completely new.
In the music video, youโll find historyโs some of the most despised figures and events are given prominent placement. Have a listen and share your thoughts in the comments below! Also, be sure to follow Ruiz! on social media to know more about new projects.
