Over Blue by TOO YOUNG QUIET: Album Review
Too Young Quiet’s 2022 album drop namely “Over Blue” is a beautiful and blissful blue cover filled with imaginative music. There are 15 songs in the album, amounting up to 46 minutes and 31 seconds to give you a full taste of Too Young Quiet’s talents.
A few of the tracks, for example, “Imagining Things,” “Brand New Christmas” and even the self-titled number “Over Blue” have instrumental mixes for a more nuanced expression. The melodies work up in a manner that makes you crave more bridge space in between the music. There are no sudden guitar squeaks that would catch you off guard, and there’s enough power and softness mixed into the tracks to give you an astronomical experience. More like, music that takes you along the clouds to make you experience the blue sky. Doesn’t that set the tone for a really nice mood? So if you wanted to chime in with the music, dance to it, it would be a beautiful experience!
Two of the collaborative names in this album are Stuart Cardell and Signe, who made the musical production sound surreal, dreamy and luscious all at the same time. Now that the fully released EP is available on Spotify, be sure to tune into it and get your feet swept away by Too Young Quiet!
