Pale Waves have released a new track called “Lies” from their upcoming third album, “Unwanted.” In August, the sequel to ‘Who Am I?’ from 2021 will be released.

The band has released the album’s first track, ‘Lies,’ which was initially teased last month, to coincide with the announcement.
The trio teased two videos on their official TikTok account, with the chorus of the song playing over the videos (“You called it love, but it never had a feeling/ Ripped out my heart and left me bleeding”).
Producer Zakk Cervini, who has worked with Blink-182, Halsey, and Machine Gun Kelly, worked on the track in Los Angeles. It has a ripping pop-punk soundtrack and crunchy guitars.
“‘Lies’ is about someone who built up my trust and then shattered it like a wrecking ball,” Heather Baron-Gracie, the band’s frontwoman, said of the song. “It generated a lot of trust issues, but thankfully that person is no longer in my life.” You’ll be gone if you offend me!”
“It was basically the only thing this album could be labeled,” Baron-Gracie stated of the new album ‘Unwanted.’ It’s unabashed and bold, which is exactly what the Pale Waves community is all about. We don’t have to fit into a perfect mold, we don’t have to apologize for being ourselves, and we won’t change just to please others. That acceptance is what binds us together.”
The tracklist for Pale Waves’ ‘Unwanted’ is as follows:
1. ‘Lies’
2. ‘Unwanted’
3. ‘The Hard Way’
4. ‘Jealousy’
5. ‘Alone’
6. ‘Clean’
7. ‘Without You’

10. ‘Reasons To Live’
