Paradise by Ozer: Review
The beauty and the sophistication of sound are felt throughout Ozer’s Paradise, it’s such a heavenly and catchy tune, I think I’ll play it repeatedly as I go for a night drive. First of all, the rhythm is so unbelievably smooth, that it makes your jaw drop, and as a musician myself I think to myself “Man I wish I wrote and produced that”.
An artist such as Ozer, hailing from San Francisco, had his experience honed as an Emcee, before rising up like a phoenix and soaring high with musical prowess in today’s world. His lyrics evoke a tale of pain and paradise, all mixed within a flow of hip-hop and R&B. Now, about the guitar in the background, give that musician a medal! Cause he scored gold with that tone and minimalist playing, it sounds breathtaking with Ozer’s rapping.
Need a preview of the fire lyrics Ozer composed? Here you go –
“Fresh out of school
Tryna see what this life bring
Infatuated by all of these nice things
Big city, bright lights the sh*t so Enticing
The sh*t’s so enlightening”
The overall beat and song structure of Paradise is great. I wish the song was longer, because I didn’t want it to end. I had a really special time listening to Ozer’s composition, ideas, and musical personality in Paradise, and I hope I hear more of his music because there is a strong sense of dedication in his tale of melodies.
