Pharsalia released catchy new song ‘Gravity Killer’
Pharsalia, a five-piece band from Delaware, releases their self-titled debut EP in the spring of 2023. The EP transports listeners to a cinematic experience with its conceptual lyrics and strong instrumental fusions of alternative metal and eccentric pop-punk guitar riffs. The band’s experimental single ‘Gravity Killer’, an unforgettable passage of anthemic songwriting for fans of ‘New Found Glory’, ‘Four Year Strong’, ‘The Word Alive’, and ‘Underoath’, was released alongside their EP.
As their generational peers reach adulthood and steadfastly hold to the 2000s pop punk and emo music that shaped their lives—in other words, it never was a phase—Pharsalia loudly embraces the elder emo culture. What happens when you trade your fast food job, studded belts, and skateboard for careers, kids, and a mortgage is Pharsalia’s music.
Pharsalia was founded in the center of a small Delaware neighborhood that bears the same name as the epic poem’s heading. With members who have been active in Delaware’s local music scene for a long time, the band’s writing process is infused with a wide range of musical influences.
