Pitch for the Perfect Human by Ben Street: Review
Ben Street has spent a lot of time as a session musician for other bands, so he decided to record a collection of his own songs as a solo effort. โPitch for the Perfect Humanโ was his debut song, released on April 1st. The title is a play on Jรธrgen Lethโs short film โThe Perfect Humanโ. This song will serve as the lead single from his upcoming debut album โBridges Over Minefieldsโ, due out later in 2022. Mastering for Benโs โPitch for the Perfect Humanโ was done by Paul Fox at Indie Masters, where Ben also recorded and performed.
โPitch for the Perfect Humanโ has all the ingredients for a powerful rock song. It has a slow intro and dives right in eventually into strong guitar riffs and melodic vocals. There are some portions where the synthesizer is involved, and thus makes the song sound quite diverse. The music video is very artistic, and a bit on the avant-garde side. It blended well with the track, and anyone would be graced to witness it.
The guitar and bass elements were simply top-notch. This is because thereโs a fine synergy between the two instrumentโs playthroughs, and itโs all mixed so darn well! I truly value a song when I can hear each instrument clearly. The bass especially sounds swell, and sometimes people forget how important it is! Can you believe that? It is the bloodline of a song after all! Anyhoo, Ben Street is a talented rock musician whose debut album is sure to be a hit!
