Ben Street has spent a lot of time as a session musician for other bands, so he decided to record a collection of his own songs as a solo effort. βPitch for the Perfect Humanβ was his debut song, released on April 1st. The title is a play on JΓΈrgen Lethβs short film βThe Perfect Humanβ. This song will serve as the lead single from his upcoming debut album βBridges Over Minefieldsβ, due out later in 2022. Mastering for Benβs βPitch for the Perfect Humanβ was done by Paul Fox at Indie Masters, where Ben also recorded and performed.
βPitch for the Perfect Humanβ has all the ingredients for a powerful rock song. It has a slow intro and dives right in eventually into strong guitar riffs and melodic vocals. There are some portions where the synthesizer is involved, and thus makes the song sound quite diverse. The music video is very artistic, and a bit on the avant-garde side. It blended well with the track, and anyone would be graced to witness it.
The guitar and bass elements were simply top-notch. This is because thereβs a fine synergy between the two instrumentβs playthroughs, and itβs all mixed so darn well! I truly value a song when I can hear each instrument clearly. The bass especially sounds swell, and sometimes people forget how important it is! Can you believe that? It is the bloodline of a song after all! Anyhoo, Ben Street is a talented rock musician whose debut album is sure to be a hit!
