Reveries In Grey by Vishal Naidu: Review
โA fantasy born out of the acoustic guitar, and a talented artist by the hold of it.โ- These are the thoughts that hit my musical self strongly in Reveries In Grey by Vishal Naidu. Full of gratifying sequences within this alluring artist, his powerful presence is felt throughout the neo-folk/post-rock track.
A little over seven minutes long Reveries In Grey is a progressive and ambient trip down the echoes of acoustic dreams. Mysterious and moving pluckings flow throughout the track, and each of them comes to life through grace and finesse. The track gives off a vibe of pain but at the same time pertains to the feeling of peace. Thereโs a hint of flamenco imbued with the track that fits perfectly with the feeling of goodbyes as the credits roll from a somber film. The orchestral melody draws you in with each passing moment in the track. The chords resemble a flow of emotions and the lead guitar notes are attachments to keep that sentiment intact.
Vishal Naiduโs presence in the track is felt, and the rich personality of folk music produces perfectly. I truly enjoy how his playstyle indicates an experienced artist at the works because as he moves up and down the fretboard, magic takes place. Itโs not just magic, but a genuine atmosphere where meditative energy is present throughout the ambiance of the music. Reveries In Grey is available for streaming, wait no longer, have a deep listen to it.
