Roxercat released melodious new song ‘2020’
Price Jones’s diary for the year 2020, ‘2020’, takes us on an uncertain emotional journey primarily through instrumental means. The year got off to a good start for Jones and her bandmates with the completion of the recording for their rock musical and the start of the live performance. Then the pandemic struck, delaying plans and causing the loss of loved ones. However, the song ends on a positive note by stating that “that’s just life.” Our hearts will and can mend.
A very satisfying listening experience is produced by the band’s expert musicianship, Price’s talent for composition and storytelling, and both factors individually. The songs discuss a variety of subjects, such as the difficulties of living in the digital age, love, relationships, life’s paradigm shifts, and surviving uncertain times. No matter the current state of relationships with the people who come and go throughout your life, you can still wish them happiness, Price Jones’ worldview is embodied in the title song, ‘Pearls’.
