Samantha Gibb releases a sentimental wholehearted track “Sorry, Not Sorry”

Samantha was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida, although she currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. She joined Lazaro Rodriguez in 2004 to establish M.E.G. Records /M.E.G. Productions (M.E.G. being an acronym for her father’s initials, Maurice Ernest Gibb). Samantha’s father, the iconic Bee Gees member Maurice Gibb, had a significant impact on her life and music. According to the artist, watching her father and uncles as a child really set the benchmark for the type of musician and lyricist she aspires to become.
Finding equilibrium after a stormy past, the alt-indie performer sings without remorse about her previous sins and how they have enabled her to mature. Sometimes, certain connections aren’t worth hanging around for, thus untangling from such toxicity helps us to grow and evolve, “‘Sorry, Not Sorry” is a song just about that. Gibb explains that the song is a personal reflection of her bond with her hometown of Miami Beach, Florida.
“Sorry, Not Sorry” is a laid-back tune that is filled with sweet and delightful vocals from Samantha. The harmonies in the song and the bass-infused ode that she delivers are truly unique and fresh. Her sense of melody is quite impactful and she makes sure that every portion of the song has proper meaning as it follows through with some clean synth progressions. Thus, it is quite evident how polished the entire arrangement is! Its catchy hook will surely resonate with everyone, and it feels like a performance one must witness to appreciate.
