Teen years a so adventurous. A flow of emotions runs through our body and mind. So much to discover and so much to feel. There is an attraction and energy in the relationship. And having a good time is all that matters. “Secret” is a combination track of pop and RnB sung by Amy Jaime. This song is based on portraying a romantic incident of the singer herself.

Listeners can relate to the pain and joy of loving someone who doesn’t love them as much. Or we might even say, unrequited love. Revolving around this relatable theme, the song has catchy lyrics that have repeated verses. The transitions are pretty well built.

When you feel strongly for a person, who doesn’t reciprocate the same feelings, you feel rejected. This certainly hurts as you feel that you are got good enough. Romantic rejections not only leave you with emotional scars but also physical pain. But the singer was comforting herself that her loved one wants to spend time with her, talk to her for hours, and love her back. But the reality was different than what she thought. The lyrics also emphasize by saying “You held me as your secret” as the boy was not accepting her truly by heart which left her scared. This whole thing is beautifully presented in a captivating RnB tune with mesmerizing vocals of Amy Jaime.
