Serotonin by San Quentin: EP Review
San Quentin are a solid rock act that brings back the roots of the genre. From electrifying guitar riffs to rebellious vocals, the essence of this monumental movement of music is represented pretty impressively. The band are simply marvelous to hear on repeat, especially with their splendid EP titled “Serotonin.” Thus, if you’re an avid rock fan, kudos to you my friend, we’re gonna have a terrific time jamming out to San Quentin’s hardcore music.
Three songs, each exciting as heck, and guaranteed to knock your socks off. From the thrilling guitar sequence of “Serotonin,” to the heart-pounding percussions of “You’re Lost,” and finally the commanding vocals of “You Got Some Nerve,” we grasp the sensational presence of San Quentin. They’re truly a versatile act that energizes your soul, and pushes you to hear more of their melodic bravado. Aside from that, if you are new to the rock genre, like an aspiring teen just entering the halls of rock, then San Quentin’s music is a good place to start. Their classic instrumental arrangements pay homage to iconic bands from the golden age of the genre, and stylize it with a contemporary cadence that beginners are more likely to vibe with.
“Serotonin’ by San Quentin is a superb EP to immerse yourself in. That being said, do give it a spin, the rocker in you will call out for it eventually!
