SIGLOS released blazing new song ‘Morir Para Vivir’
By fusing their Spanish and Mexican ancestry into ritualistic lyrics, experimenting with non-traditional rhythms, chanting, and even having a Shaman perform a cleaning ceremony on their lead singer while they were filming the music video for their most recent album, ‘Morir Para Vivir’. Their brand-new EP, ‘Rituales Sagrados’, is a collection of songs that will take listeners on a journey through an explanation of ancestral medicine, including ayahuasca, intensive self-reflection techniques, and connection to our inner selves – as well as our own death.
By fusing extreme elements with Black Metal, Doom Metal, and Industrial Metal to create a transforming musical experience, SIGLOS epitomizes the inherent power of Heavy Metal. Guitarist Sin Quirin (previously of Ministry), who has received two Grammy nominations, and Pedro Sanchez, a member of Transtorno and an incredibly powerful voice, make up the Los Angeles, California-based band SIGLOS. On January 27th, the band released ‘Rituales Sagrados’, a song whose distinctive sound promises to provide metal fans a deep dive into their own spirituality as well as the aggressive, extreme, and evocative sound that SIGLOS has built since their inception.
