Strings Attached by All Due Respect: Album Review
New York-based band All Due Respect is hoping to define its sound with its debut album โStrings Attachedโ, released in August consists of eight tracks, featuring heavy, riff-heavy hard rock with catchy melodies.
Strings Attached is an invigorating listen from beginning to end, as it features the bandโs signature explosive pop-punk energy. They have always worked together on the instrumentals, drawing inspiration from the best punk, grunge, and hard rock acts, such as Foo Fighters, Offspring, Blink-182, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, and Audioslave. As a band, All Due Respect calls out political and social hypocrisy. Their album is no short of the same messaging, divided across 8 songs โ one banger after another. From the circling riffs and punk rock edge of the guitars to the blazing drum work of โHere We Go Againโ, to the incredible solos of โKiller Blondeโ and โBoys Get Sad Tooโ that make you nod in total admiration, they swing in the right grunge yet raw until the very last song of the EP. Formed from the ashes of Jesse and Tommyโs previous grunge/rock endeavors, recruiting Nick as the bandโs drummer and Alex for the extra lead guitar layer, they gave themselves a more grunge punk sound.
This new EP is one you will listen to over and over again, as it captures the raw and explosive vibe with its driven guitars and killer hooks and brings life to pounding hard rock anthems.
