Swedish hard rock band DARWICHE release a new single ‘SIGN OF THE SEVEN SEALS’.
Darwiche is a Swedish hard rock band based in Landskrona. Style-defining American and British hard rock and heavy metal bands such as Dio, Rainbow, Deep Purple, Accept, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Saxon, and others have impacted their sound.
With roots in the 80s-90s hard rock, the group originally consisted of the four siblings, Fadi ‘Freddie’ Darwiche on drums, Gassan ‘Gaz’ Darwiche on lead guitar and Patricia Darwiche and Jaqueline Darwiche on vocals. The band came back together in 2019 adding guitarist John ‘Jays’ Traas and later Simon Niklasson on base.
Starting out as a cover band, the band played at rock clubs and festivals for the first few years, paying homage to the guitar bite, loud percussion, and Hard Rock that shaped us. Darwiche began writing new original music in 2020, composing their first songs, which are currently being published as debuts, accompanied with music videos developed at Studio 24B in collaboration with filmmaker Antonio Darwiche.
Jonatan Dahlgren recorded the guitars and vocals on the tracks “Follow the herd,” “Sign of the Seven Seals,” and “Taking Your Life” at South Sound Studio in Staffanstorp. Kaspar Dahlqvist provided additional keyboards. Drums and bass were recorded at RoastingHouse Music in Malmö, with Anders “Theo” Theander mixing and mastering. Additional material is being produced and will be released after the summer (“Fall of the King and Queens,” “Raindrops in November,” and “Soldier’s Heart”).
