Thami Jay Releases Gospel-House Fusion Album “Essence of Faith”
Thami Jay is a talented producer from Rustenburg, South Africa. He is introducing a brand of colorful, and multilingual Gospel House to the limelight. At an early age, he began singing in the school choir, picked up the keyboard and drums during his participation on the worship team at Robega AM, and before he realized it, he was performing in Johannesburg with gospel singer Vicky Vilakazi!
When Thami went back to his birthplace, he shifted his focus to music production while operating as the music director for the Life Changers Church. Thami Jay is establishing an image as an artist in the South African music scene, and he has no plans to stop.
The latest album by Gospel House artist Thami Jay, “Essence of Faith,” was released on May 13th, and it is surely one worth keeping in mind. It is a mesmerizing and lively look at Christianity, bursting with casual tunes and Afrobeats melodies. ‘The Water of Life’ and ‘Sicela Amandla’ are examples of cheerful chant tracks with captivating singing and arrangements, while ‘Saviour and Healer’ and ‘Uluncedo Lwami’ are depictions of more personal and vocal-focused tracks sung by Thami Jay himself. There’s a lot to find on every track, from rapid synths to elegant piano portions and saxophone notes that will leave you wanting more. Thus, “Essence of Faith” is yet another impressive album by Thami Jay, who aims to inspire listeners. Interested to hear his album? Well, luckily you can check it out here!
