Released on January 1, 2026, the project is the result of years of tinkering, layering, and sound-hoarding, all carried out inside Henry Evelethโs apartment studio. The payoff is a compact but immersive listen that pulls from art-pop, psych, indie rock, and ambient traditions and performs as one restless mind following curiosity wherever it leads.
The EP opens with โ0123,โ a brief instrumental that exhales before the plunge. Soft, warm chord progressions churn slowly under steady, unshowy beats, setting the tone in just over a minute. Itโs subtle but effective, easing the listener into Henryโs world of texture-first storytelling. From there, โThe Perfect Answerโ unfurls with a trickling rhythm and buoyant guitar chords that seem to hover rather than land.
