The Still Wonder released melodious new track ‘Evergreen’
The Rockford, Michigan-based band The Still Wonder has released ‘Evergreen’, the second single from their upcoming full-length album. The single, which was released on March 24, is available for streaming on all music services globally. The band’s first composition as a group is ‘Evergreen’. Before that, all writing was handled by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Tony Halchak.
As soon as this group got going, Halchak said, “I wanted to bring as much of our collective voices into our music.”
‘Evergreen’ was created by Halchak using some poetry by Penny Lloyd-Jones (vocals/violin). Jeff Howard on drums and percussion and Jon Carlson on bass make up the rest of the ensemble.
Halchak said, “This track really became the start of the rest of our record.” “This became the beginning of the sound we were trying to find as a band. Which is intriguing because, in a sense, the song is about the conclusion of something.”
