Daniel de Boer’s EP The Turnaround is a rich, multicultural acoustic pop offering infused with electronic textures and global rhythms. “No Longer Belong Here” picks up the pace with a cool, laid-back groove. The percussion from Ahmad Aljarrah and Tim Breel, along with Vitor Carvalho’s spirited saxophone, making the music catchy and full of movement. De Boer’s relaxed vocal delivery makes the song feel intimate and singable, while the horn solo in the bridge lifts the track into a burst of joy and celebration.
“The Turnaround”, the EP’s title track, draws listeners in with a compelling guitar riff by Bruno Fidelis and an inviting second-person lyrical address.
