This Baby Boy by Ludlow Creek: Review
Ludlow Creek is a fantastic band that sings an ode brimmed with life and emotion. “This Baby Boy” is a modern pop rock/classic rock track with a special harmony. There is a deep resonance in each instrumental section, but what left me awestruck was the chorus section, where a sense of comradery comes alive within the rhythm!
Warmth and emotions all wrapped around a gentle composition come together in “This Baby Boy”. With each replay of the song, I noticed these polished bits that truly uplift the music, such as the buildup to the solo through soft keyboard pieces. The feeling made me think about the arrival of an inspirational turn in one’s life. Then, when the guitar solo finally hits it touches upon one’s soul like a delicate presence that showers you with a safe and smooth blues lick. The roots of rock music familiar with climactic piano melodies add a nice twist to the whole genre. So, when I heard the main hook of Ludlow Creek’s track position itself around a solo keyboard sequence, there was nothing but satisfaction in my mind.
The track feels like the mind of a wise soul, and their story is portrayed from a melodic perspective. The main essence of “This Baby Boy” vividly paints an image that personifies through melody. As a band, Ludlow Creek is a merry ensemble that performed wholesome instrumental pieces. Undoubtedly, their tunes will surely touch that soft itch one could crave in rock music.
