Voodoo Land by Jquestt: Review
Hello, young Kendrick Lamar is that you? Jquestt, a new age rapper, incredible songwriter, and producer has released his latest spitfire “Voodoo Land” which is nothing short of melodic embellishments, luscious and boomy all in one!
The energy picks up within the very first few seconds, as he boasts about his hustle and creativity in a weave of stories reflecting past difficulties he has faced, making him the man that he is today. “Voodoo Land” is an epic mix, leaving you grooving or at least nodding in admiration for the flair and uniqueness Jquestt brings to the table. Since he mixed and mastered his own track, he makes his vision perfectly clear because from start to finish, this is a freestyle bomb full of melodic flow. Starting at a young age with poems, proceeding to rap, he’s always drawn inspiration from hardships and loving memories, to seep into tastes of different backgrounds with great music such as this one.
Since he was born into a music-loving family of artisans, there’s a long “quest” waiting for him to unfold in the many years to come within the music industry. He certainly has the flavor and oomph to reach the top charts someday, and if “Voodoo Land” makes it, you and I can be in the front row applauding this Jquestt’s success because he certainly deserves it! Be sure to check out his new song, and learn more about his inspirations to support the artist, and I’ll see you in the next one!
