“Ukrainian Folk Music, Vol. VIII: Glory to the Heroes” by Brothers Ivan, led by second-generation Ukrainian brothers Petro Ivanovich and Nick Ivanovich Sahaidachny, speaks out against the recent Ukrainian Invasion through traditional Ukrainian folk music.
The first track, “Red Guelder Rose (Chervona Kalyna),” sets a lively and upbeat tone with catchy acoustic guitar riffs and whimsical, raspy vocals singing in rhythm. The spirited performance captures the essence of Ukrainian folk celebrations and traditions.
