Vic Da Looper released enthralling new song ‘Freewill Robot’
Vic Da Looper, a seasoned artist who has performed live with groups like ‘Cigarettes after Sex’ and others, is currently making music solely out of passion and with the joy of experimentation at its core. Vic returned in 2022 with his second album, ‘Love Delusion Institution’, and second single, ‘Freewill Robot’, which perfectly capture everything that Vic is about as an artist. Vic previously released his first 20-song album, ‘Fasty Deado’, back in 2020.
‘Freewill Robot’ is a soundscape that veers far from the norm, engulfing you in its atmosphere of reverb-drenched guitars, melodically flowing beats, and a sea of further complex guitar rhythms. The music stands out even more thanks to the instrumentation’s heavy layering because his vocals are placed a little further back in the mix. It’s laid-back dream pop with an undercurrent of indie shoegaze that is reminiscent of Arcade Fire, but Vic Da Looper undoubtedly has his own distinctive sonic direction.
